It definitely is too early to be talking about Christmas, but when you hand embroider handmade Christmas decorations, felt ornaments, and other slow‑stitched gifts, they take time and I need to start making now for the Christmas Markets. This is the season when my festive sewing projects, embroidered keepsakes, and hand‑stitched Christmas bears begin to take shape, one quiet stitch at a time.

This photograph made me smile, there is something very funny about a whole tray of half‑finished bears staring up at you, patiently waiting for their arms. They all look a bit worried.
